What does THAT button do?

At the end of May we got the (now) 4-year old an electronic keyboard for her birthday. The thing only has 37 keys and it plays 6 or 7 demo songs. Sounds like a pretty simple enough thing, right?

Guess again.

We’re still trying to figure out certain functions this thing has. The manual isn’t much help, because what isn’t written in Chinese is written in poorly-translated Chinese that makes almost no sense at all. You’d think that we had bought some really elaborate line 6 hd guitar mixer for a professional musician instead of an inexpensive keyboard so my little darling could learn to bang out “Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star”.

That reminds me of the old Lancia Zagato, that button is for oil slicks, that button for rocket launchers!
