We’ve been having a problem with the septic system lately, so we had a guy come out today to pump it out.
You’d think that for over a hundred dollars this guy would at least find the septic tank and actually pump it out. This guy determined that the pump that sends stuff up the hill to where the tank probably is doesn’t work, then he flushed out the line that runs from the house to the pump, handed me a bill for over a hundred dollars (the price he quoted over the phone for pumping out the tank), and was on his way.
Guess who I won’t be calling again… ever.
I am SO not happy

Just had the same problem. it actually occurred on New Year’s Eve Water from the bowl won’t really flush we had a guy come in to check it out. He tried to solve the problem by pulling the bowl, with the tiles under it broken down to ensure of enough space the guy could actually use in checking it out. Apparently, it has come form the septic tank. The pipe from the cemented ground leading through it had stones and hard soil almost piled up to the brink. He literally pulled it all out and put them all in a sack, cemented back the broken floor and affixed new tiles in our comfort room, just so he could put the bowl back. He did it for almost half day and it really cost cheap.
