Looking forward to the second

I am so glad that I’m going to see the rheumatologist on the second! Maybe this new doctor will be actually listen to what I have to say and try to do something about the pain I’ve been in.

For the last couple of weeks my knees and hips have been so sore when I get up in the morning that I can hardly walk. I have caught myself considering getting a supply of incontinence products and eliminate at least one reason for standing up and walking across the house.

The other doctor just assumed that this pain lasted for an hour or two every morning. He wouldn’t hear it when I tried to tell him that it doesn’t ease up at all unless I take a fistful of ibuprofen and then I’m only in a little pain for the next few hours until that wears off.

It’s sad that I’m taking the maximum dosage on three different prescription arthritis meds and together they don’t work as well as some over-the-counter pain medication.
