A friend of mine recently commented on Facebook that she was going to be looking for Calgary rentals in the next few weeks. When I asked her why, she said it’s because her husband is in the military and he’s being transferred to Canada… something about helping train troops there.
Given that his posting is only supposed to last a couple of years, I can understand why renting a place would work better for her than buying a home.
