We have a couch that really needs to be replaced. It’s just fine at one end, but at the other end the seat is falling in and one of the legs is ready to break off. I’m not entirely sure how it came to be in this condition, but one gets the impression that a hippopotamus sat on one end of it.
After Christmas we are probably going to go to the only furniture store in this small town and look into a replacement. While this store isn’t as grand as most los angeles furniture stores, they do have a couple of services that I really like: free delivery and free setup.
Not only do I not have a way to haul furniture as large as a sofa or a bed, I no longer have the dexterity or the patience to put things like beds and futons together
