Yesterday I had to go to the bank to take care of some business and had no choice but to take the kids with me. Fortunately the bank has a small room set up as a play area for small children. It has toy cars and trucks that can be “driven” over a section of carpet that looks like a road and chalk boards on the lower half of all the walls, along with a healthy supply of chalk.
It was nice that the older girls could take the three year old in there to play while I took care of what I needed to do, but the problem is that ever since then the little one has been saying, “I want to go to the bank.”
That one’s going to be fun trying to explain to strangers who overhear it.
