Hey, Mom, what’s this?

Since my Mother-In-Law passed away we’ve been going through her closet and dresser drawers and we’ve found that that woman, God love her, saved some of the strangest things. We found pieces of eyeglass frames that broke 20 years ago, bits and pieces of dentures that broke even longer ago than that.

One of the items we found was a small, cylindrical object with a button on one end and an opening with what looked like small pinchers on the other end. The whole thing couldn’t have been more than 2 inches long. My daughter saw it and asked if it was some kind of old blackhead remover.

When I finished laughing I told her that it was her grandfather’s nose-hair trimmer.

I’ve never seen someone put something back on the table so quickly.
