The other eye has been scheduled.

I got a phone call yesterday afternoon from my eye doctor. They were calling to let me know that my right eye is scheduled for June 30. On the one hand, I’m really looking forward to getting this done because the vision in the eye that’s been fixed has gone from about 20-400 to 20-30. On the other hand, that means that I’ve got to go another 16 days (yes, I’m counting) seeing everything clearly with one eye and fuzzy as hell with the other eye. I’ve tried taking one lens out of my glasses, but then they don’t sit straight because of the weight of the missing lens. When they don’t sit straight, I see two of every thing. Because of that, I’m just going without them and seeing everything like in the images below.

As a side note, if you look at these images like you would a stereogram or “magic eye”, you’ll see a three-dimentional image in between these two pictures.

This is what my left eye sees.

This is the view from my right eye.
