I just lost my appetite

I like it when someone says something without thinking about the alternate meanings hidden in the way they’ve phrased their observation. I especially like it when that someone isn’t me.
The local grocery store (the one that’s NOT America’s Largest Retailer) advertised Boston Butt Roasts (as opposed to “ham”) for 97 cents a pound for a 2-pack. Being the only driver in the house, I was sent to the store with instructions to get a package of them. On the way into the store I saw some guy loading 4 packages of these things into an rv. I guess someone’s got plans for the weekend…
Anyway, I managed to get inside just in time to get the last one they had. We’re talking 18+ pounds of butt roast. I got it home and, after seeing the size of these roasts, my wife was trying to express the opinion that we were going to be eating a lot of butt roast. The problem is that she actually proclaimed, “We’re going to be eating the crap out of these butts!”
Even after I looked at her with a grin and said, “That’s just NASTY”, it took her a few minutes to realize what she’d said.
