The cat’s in for it now
Welcome back!
Max is our cat. He’s nine going on twenty if he survives the weekend. Being a male cat who was never “fixed”, he still has an obnoxious habit or two, like howling at the top of his lungs at random moments, or falling off of the window sill that he’s too fat to be lying on in the first place, or, everyone’s special favorite, walking out of the cat box doing a Maxwell Smart impression: “Missed it by THAT much”.
In the interest of trying to get him to quit falling out of the window and into the kitchen sink, we have started keeping the mini blinds on that window shut. In the interest of being a male cat with more hormones than brains, he has shredded the aforementioned mini blinds.
I’m going to try a different tactic after we get some Cheap Blinds to replace the ones he destroyed. I’m going to try stacking bricks or something he can’t move in the window sill, arranged higher than he’s comfortable jumping.
