Just a quick thought about my medications
Welcome back!
I have been taking prednisone to fight the effects of rheumatoid arthritis for about the last 12 years. There are several side effects of long-term use of corticosteroids (which I’ll probably be listing in an upcoming post), but the one that I consider the biggest annoyance - even more than always being hungry and looking like I should get some weight loss pills - has got to be the fact that my adrenal glands have pretty much quit working altogether and if I have a really stress-filled Friday, I’m probably going to spend Saturday throwing up. Bleah.
