my poor memory
Welcome back!
I have run into a problem recently. Since I got my laptop, I tend to spend most of my computer time in the front room using the laptop where I can see and hear what’s going on in the world, instead of hidden in the back of the house using the desktop machine.
The problem is that this laptop only has 256mb of memory whereas the desktop has 800mb. Because I don’t want to (and sometimes CAN’T) spend the whole day tucked away where nobody can see me and I can’t see anyone else, this means that I am using the laptop to edit images for my other blog. Frequently the size of the image grows as I add layer after layer of adjustments to it. Before long, the size of the image in memory is greater than the amount of computer memory in my laptop.
I need to start saving my pennies to upgrade the memory is laptop . . . right after we upgrade the memory in my wife’s laptop.
