Again, I suddenly realized that it’s been over a week since I posted anything here. Honestly, I’m not as derelict in my duties as it might seem. First off, I’ve been devoting more time to my other blog, One Man’s Focus. While I know people who don’t seem to have a problem keeping up with three or four blogs, I can’t seem to do more than one thing at a time. When I post on here every day, the other blog suffers and when I post on there every day, this blog suffers. Looks like I won’t be starting a third blog anytime in this life.
What keeps me so busy with the other blog is the fact that its about photography and that means I have to find, take, and tweak pictures for it. Here is my favorite so far (click the image for the full-sized picture):
That’s my almost-3-month-old granddaughter. She’s been photographed more in the last 2 months than I have been in 44 years. The poor kid is going to need sunglasses pretty soon just because of all the camera flashes!

While I certainly appreciate all the congratulatory comments, I feel I should clarify one point: Grandma is the happy woman holding the baby in the picture. She is my wife. Being male, I prefer the title of Grandpa.

Ahhh, what a pretty baby!!!! Congratulations Grandma! I became a Grandma for the first time in March myself - isn’t it wonderful?

Thanks, but now that the laughter has quieted down, I must politely explain that I am, in fact, grandpa.
Grandma is the owner of the big grin behind the baby. I was actually on the other side of the camera.
Well then grandpa, i know what you mean about trying to do more than 1 blog, i tried to do 2 but couldn’t manage it, so i’m just going to stick to the 1, that way i believe i’ll be able to offer better content to the people who visit, congratulations on your granddaughter, and i do think you should avoid all the flashes from cameras, it cant be good for her, regards, mick..
the baby is really beautiful.she just looks like a doll.congrats to you.i think you feel proud to be grandma of her.but you really should care about her eyes.try to photographed her without flash.
She is adorable! Congrats on being a Grandma! I can imagine doing more than one site and spending time with your granddaughter must be tough! Keep up the good work!
What a cute grand daughter! It’s impressive she can hold her own head up. You’re a grandma at 44 years old? I don’t think I’ll live long enough to become a great grand parent, but you’re on track.
