A few days ago I was complaining about having to find a place to store Daughter Number Two’s elliptical machine while she is away at college.
It took everything that two of us could do, but it is now resting comfortably under a plastic tarp in the barn, right in between some horse supplies that nobody around here has needed in a couple of decades or so and a stack of boxes containing who-knows-what.
I told my daughter that if the thing ever quits working she could still exercise her upper body with it - all she has to do is lift the thing a few times a day. I never really thought about how heavy those things were!
