Baby news
Welcome back!
This new grandbaby is keeping us all jumping. lately she seems to have had her days and nights a little bit backwards. This means that we’ve been taking turns sleeping.
Fortunately, she seems to be getting things straightened out over the last few days, so maybe I can get back to posting here on something resembling a regular basis.
Granddaughter Number One has passed a couple of milestones this week. A few days ago she was crying and I noticed her face was wet. I wasn’t sure if she had actual tears on her face or if she had just gotten something else on her cheek but the next day she was crying again and there were definitely real tears involved. The other milestone is at the other end of the spectrum. Yesterday she laughed for the first time!

Congratulations!! I have a new baby cousin that is more like my niece since me and her mom are so close!!

why not use their names?
That’s a very reasonable question, and I’m sure you’re not the first person to wonder that. The answer deserves to be put in its own post instead of just tucked away in a comment. Look for it soon.
