A comment about comments
Welcome back!
I like to think I’m reasonably fair when moderating comments. Generally, as long as it is a valid comment that tells me the commenter actually read the post, I’ll go ahead and approve it.
The names that appear on some of those comments occasionally make me laugh out loud. I understand the concept of using relevant text to link to your URL, but on the other hand, is it not a little bit unreasonable to put something like “Increase Breast Milk Supply” into a field clearly marked, “Name”?
I find myself sitting here going, “Is that Scandinavian?”

Either you get way more comments than I do or your blog is somehow more provocative, because I never see anything that amusing in my comments.
That is all too common to see these days! It’s good to see I’m not the only one who has to moderate comments like that. LOL
I hope my comments aren’t considered spam and my name is ok
Yay! What I hate about spammers is that when they do solicit items not relevant to your post. Hate comments are okay as long as they are “on-topic”. Well, that’s just me
You said it. I wouldn’t be so arrogant as to ask everyone on the planet to agree with me, but I do ask that people actually read what I write here before commenting.
Have you seen the Keywords plugin which is like CommentLuv but asks the person to put in their real name while at the same time allowing them to enter keywords.
From time to time I look over this site with its well written contributions. I am pleased about the interesting contributions and would like to express my radix complement in addition! Greetings from Germany!
lol
that was funny thing to be left with name
thankfully he didn’t leave one work brea*t in name field
You know what? I can’t blame anyone who knows from not writing their name down. Does everyone realise that if you put your first and last name, THAT WEBSITE WILL BE ASSOCIATED WITH THAT NAME?
Post enough and in a few months time search for your name and you’ll be on the results with that website. Nice cyber trail you’re leaving there guys.
I simply can’t understand 2 things.
1) Why did theo original creator of the comment form link the website with the “name” text instead of just putting a website link separate.
2) Why no one has modified this after so many years we’re all still using the same forms!
I know people don’t want to reinvent the wheel but this wheel isn’t exactly a perfect wheel.
