After helping my wife with a video project she was working on, I’m going to have to admit that I’m a little bit hooked. The video we put together was filmed with my Canon Powershot camera in the form of several small clips which were pasted together with Windows’ Movie Maker.
What I’d really like to get my hands on is software that can handle removing backgrounds from video clips, swapping backgrounds, transition effects with sound; some of the more sophisticated stuff that, if Windows Movie Maker will do it, I haven’t figured out how.
The problem is budgeting software like that when you’re on a fixed income. That stuff doesn’t come cheap.
I guess I can find the name of a particular software package and add it to my wish list… I do have a birthday sometime this year…
