Invasion of the neighbors

We had the new neighbors over again on New Year’s day. I swear, one day we’re going to learn not to keep doing that. This time, Mr. Intelligent got a look at the digital TV that Mom got for Christmas (because her old one was on its last legs and guaranteed not to work after the tv signals all go digital-only) and he decided he had to turn on the closed captioning service so he could watch The Game instead of being sociable. Once we finally got them to leave, everyone just wanted to go to bed. I, therefore, got up this morning and spent an hour undoing all the things that Mr. Intelligent changed while he was trying to turn o the captions.

Sigh.

Pain in the you-know-what neighbors. Actually, I have the same problem with some family members. Hey! Go home if you want to watch TV!
