I haven’t checked the national whether map today, so I don’t yet know if my sister in Oklahoma got hit with more snow last night. I do know that she got hit pretty hard in the storm last week. Her electricity had been off for about three days when I talked to her and she’d missed a day or two of work because her employer’s power was off as well. I wish it was possible for me to get her a bed and breakfast gift certificate for Christmas, but I would imagine that I’m probably not the only person with that idea and, besides, a week before Christmas is probably a little too late.
Maybe next year…
I had a similar situation once and it can be very relaxing to have some time outside of all the day to day things that occupy us
