For the race car driver who has everything
My uncle has been racing stock cars for longer than I can remember.
Daughter Number Three: “Wow. That’s a LOONG time!”
Me: “Go away!”
Anyway, What do you get for the race car driver who has everything? I thought about sending him a couple of dozen donuts just because when I was a kid he would show up every Sunday morning with two dozen donuts for us kids. I figured out years later that it wasn’t so much because he felt we needed the donuts so much as it was the fact that if five little mouths were busy with food, then he could get a few minutes to talk to his brother (my father).
But, then donuts probably wouldn’t taste the same after being shipped 3,000 miles, would they?
I’m thinking that I might go looking around at body shop supplies, since he spends so much time working on his car.
