I found a new toy

I found a new toy program that’s going to be a lot of fun to play with be a big help with Christmas gifts this year. It’s called The Framing Station and it allows you to create custom photo gifts.

As an example of what it does, here is a photo I took a few days ago:

The Framing Station allows me to create a digital picture frame for this picture, like so:

yarddeer2.JPG

The program comes with literally hundreds of frames you can use, along with a wide selection of frames (such as the one I used) with no text on them so you can customize them to your heart’s content.

The software couldn’t be easier to use, either. It’s as simple as

  1. load your photo
  2. select a frame
  3. adjust your photo’s position and size to fit in the frame
  4. save or print your framed photo.

If you’re like me, and don’t own a decent printer, you can store the image on a memory card and take it to a photo kiosk like the ones at America’s largest retailer and have prints made there. Otherwise, you just load photo paper into your pinter and click “Print” and you’re good to go.

These pictures are going to go over well.

This is a nice find - I am a picture fanatic and even if you know how to edit your own pictures in Photoshop or whatever, who has the time? This looks really easy to use too - thanks for sharing!
