I found out not too long ago that the factory where I used to work before going on disability has closed its doors permanently.
This doesn’t surprise me terribly, to tell the truth. I worked there for six years and the first time I was told they were going to close the plant I hadn’t yet received my first paycheck! These rumors seemed to circulate every few months… usually placing the blame for the factory’s demise on poor corporate performance management.
