A retraction

In this post I said that my wife got an email from thoof.com complaining about her blog posts not being written in third person.

I have since heard from the site owner of thoof.com and I’m going to assume (since I don’t have the email to refer back to any more) that he’s correct when he says that he was trying to say that when entering information about a post into thoof’s website, they want the information you hand them about the post to be written in third person - not the post itself.

It was a simple misunderstanding and, while, as a general rule, I don’t like to remove posts from my blog (the exception being a news article that was posted inaccurately and is shows a different article today than I wrote about the other day), I’m not too proud to write a post admitting my mistake.

After 43 years, I’m getting really used to the taste of crow. ;)
