Usually it’s my wife who posts YouTube videos of classic comedy routines, but my daughters were talking about this yesterday and I just had to find this video.
While I’m not quite old enough to remember seeing this when it was new, I did get a transcript of this routine in a magazine when I was a pre-teenager.
Abbott and Costello were two of the funniest men of their time and I really appreciate the fact that they could be so funny without using language that would make a sailor blush.

I was cruising around YouTube after posting the classic “Who’s On First” routine when I found the second one below, which is the same routine with an Elizabethan twist. TOO FUNNY!
