The internet is a really amazing thing. I’ve met people over the internet whom I never would have known otherwise. Take my friend, Mary, for example. She lives in New Zealand and likes to joke around by sending me advertisements for hotels in Auckland and telling me about all the great things happening “down under”.
Her latest batch of Auckland Hotels came while she was telling me about something called “Big Boys Toys” and how it’s supposed to be an annual extravaganza with the newest, fastest, most exciting toys on the market.
Again, I politely wrote back and told Mary that I will never need any Auckland accommodation of any sort and, again, I get the feeling that this will only get her to quiet down about me gathering up the whole family for a drip to New Zealand until the next major trade show, or concert, or whatever…
sigh.
