Touchdown!
Welcome back!
This being Friday night, I’m blogging while the radio broadcasts the local high school football game. Growing up, I was never really interested in football - largely because my father couldn’t stand it and it was never on in my house. I’ve learned more about how to play football just in the few years since Daughter Number One and Daughter Number Two joined the high school band than I did in the 30 years prior to that.
One thing I have been able to figure out is that most of our school’s better players graduated last Spring. The kids who are left are not, in my humble opinion, going to be buying Miami real estate with money made from professional football contracts.
They will, however, have no problem defeating tonight’s opponents.
