Happy what day?

A couple of hundred hears ago, when I was in ninth grade, I had a history teacher who actually made the class into something I looked forward to. Trust me, when you’re talking about a history class, that’s not an easy thing to do as far as I’m concerned. I generally looked forward to classes like math and accounting - never history.

Mrs. B. told us at the beginning of the school year that you’ll have good luck all month long if, on the first day of the month, you say, “Happy Bunny-Bunny Day” to someone before anyone says it to you.

It’s been 28 years since I sat in her class, and on the first day of every month I still find myself thinking about that silly game and wondering where in the world she managed to come up with such utter nonsense.

So, in the interest of continuing a totally stupid tradition,

Happy Bunny Bunny Day.
