Doctors’ offices are as bad as hospitals
The other day I made the comment on here that hospitals are boring. Well, I had it driven home to me yesterday that doctors’ offices are no better.
My daughter had a doctor’s appointment after school yesterday. Too early for her to ride the bus home, but too late for me to just pick her up and get there in time for the appointment. The way it worked out, we got there about an hour before her appointment. Did that mean that he could work us in a little early? Of course not! That meant that we still got to sit there until 5:15 waiting for her 4:15 appointment, after getting there at 3:15.
I must have read everything he had in his waiting room - which wasn’t much… a few magazines and one or two books which were intended for people much younger than I am.
I even read The Jungle Book.
I was seriously bored.
