Trivia for 8/29/2007

Welcome back!

* Between 1937 and 1945 Heinz produced a version of Alphabetti Spaghetti especially for the German market that consisted solely of little pasta swastikas.

I can’t help but wonder how many American’s knew that at the time. Of course, it does dawn on me that the name Heinz is very German in origin, so maybe this factoid shouldn’t be all that surprising.
