The heat must make people crazy

I guess it’s got something to do with the heat and how it makes people’s brains shut down. What else would make a person get in the car and drive for 30 minutes so they could walk around a store looking at quoizel lighting fixtures that they had no intention of buying when they bgan the adventure?
The reason given for this exercise in futility? The air conditioner in that store works SO much better than the one at home.
