* There are no clocks in Las Vegas gambling casinos.
There are probably two reasons for this.
The obvious one: if you can’t see the clock, then you won’t realize how late it is and you’ll continue to hand out your money to the casio owners.
The reason that most people probably wouldn’t think of: Picture this: You’ve been pulling the handle on that same one-armed bandit and drinking a little more than you should for who-knows-how-long and some guy comes up to you and says, “Hey, I’ll bet you ten bucks that it’s after midnight.” Boom, another ten bucks out of your pocket.
