Teen Insurance
Welcome back!
Well, it’s official. Now that we have two teenaged drivers in the house, it’s time to start looking for better car insurance rates. These kids are both pretty good drivers, but insurance companies tend to hold their age against them. A few thousand years ago, when I was a teen, I didn’t think that was incredibly fair, and my girls feel the same way now.
The problem with their reasoning is that Automobile Insurance Policies aren’t written with a teenager’s idea of “fair” i mind. They’re written with the idea that people with less experience are more likely to have an accident. Without wanting to insult teens accross the land, they’re simply betting the odds.
At any rate (no pun intended 
), it looks like Monday I’ll be calling around trying to find a good Teen Driver Auto Policy.
