Why do people do this?
On Friday of last week I bought a wireless network card on eBay. Part of the reason I bought this particular one is beause the ad talked about how you could get “the fastest possible service” if you paid with Paypal and the ad mentioned that estimated shipping time was 2 to 5 days. I am not the world’s most patient person I hate waiting even 30 seconds for anything, so those statements sounded pretty good to me.
Today - SEVEN DAYS after I paid for the item - I got an email saying that my item has just been shipped!
I am SO not happy!
I’ve been really turned off from eBay lately. Seems like a whole bunch of scammers looking to rip you off any more. Sorry for your trouble, hope it gets there soon!
The scammers are ruining it for everybody - buyers and sellers. There are so many people afraid of getting burned by scams that legitimate sellers like my wife can hardly GIVE stuff away, it seems.
