This desk I’ve got my computer sitting on has certainly seen better days. The top of it is all scratched and it wobbles from side to side. I’m very glad that my computer is a tower case that sits on the floor so that if (when?) this desk eventually gives up the ghost the computer, at least, will be spared the fall. The monitor, on the other hand . . .
I should really go looking for a replacement desk and, instead of going to the local discount store like we did for this one, I really need to find a place that sells actual office furniture.
Given that I live in the middle of nowhere, though, that’s probably a 30-minute drive to find such a place.
I wonder how long this beat-up old desk can last…? (I really don’t want to make that trip!)

I know where you can get a decent desk for about 45.00. Go to wal-mart and look in there furniture area. I bought a desk and had to put it togerther myself, but it was big enough to hold my monitor and had no problems. You should check it out
