I’ve been tagged!

I got a comment from Olivia on one of my recent posts saying that I had been tagged. I’ve never been tagged for anything before, so this is a new thing for me. Here’s hoping I do it right.
First off, the rules:
“Each person links to the person who tagged them. Then each person posts the rules before their list, then they list 8 things about themselves. At the end of the post, that person tags and links to 8 other people and then visits those peoples’ sites and comments letting them know that they have been tagged, and to come read the post, so they know what they have to do.”
Now the fun part: eight things about me in or particular order. Hrm…
- I used to work as an assembler for Lowrance Electronics. My job was to wire the connectors on the back of fish locators to the circuit board inside. Every piece I assembled received a sticker with my assembler number on it: 3L. When it came time to find a name to use online, I played with that assembler number, 3L, and came up with Thriell.
- I was born in Massachusetts and we moved to Oklahoma when I was eight. I now live in Arkansas, which makes me a Damn Yankee, as opposed to a Yankee. The difference? A Damn Yankee is a Yankee who moves to the South and stays there.
- I have had Rheumatoid Arthritis since I was 33 and something in me still wants to shout, “NO FAIR” every time I have to type with 2 fingers or can’t pick up a coin from the floor.
- The RA damaged my heart valves and I had to have 2 of them replaced. That means I now have body parts which carry serial numbers. I think that’s cool.
- I have four beautiful daughters and a wife whom I love very much.
- It drives me up the wall when I hear people on the news using improper grammer. These people get paid to use the English language and they should know how it works.
- The one thing that makes me madder than anything else on Earth is to be interupted, but in spite of that, when emotions are riding high and tempers are on edge, I seem to be one of the worst about doing that to other people. I need to work on that.
- I have been a computer geek since about 1978 when Radio Shack first introduced the TRS-80 model 1. I never had one, but I used to sit in the store for 6 to 8 hours at a time playing with their display model.
Now for the really hard part… I have to o find 8 people to tag. My victims are:
raspberryvixen - The Den of Iniquity
Lisa - My Thoughts, Ideas, and Ramblings
Kate - Electric Venom
The Non-Hamster - I am not a hamster
The Total Peanut - Comments From The Peanut Gallery
A Housewife - Confessions of a Housewife
Chubby Mommy - Chubby Mommy
Not Martha - Not Just Martha
Now to go leave 8 comments . . .
