Today being Wednesday, UPS is supposed to show up with the DSL Home-Install kit this afternoon and then the DSL service should be turned on at this end of the internet around 6:00pm tomorrow. That means that by Friday morning I should have this computer and my daughter’s notebook talking to it via a LAN.
Everyone in the house has been going, “C’mon Friday” every time we have to wait 3 minutes for a web page to load or when our dial-up connection hangs up for no apparent reason, or someone wants to use the phone while I’m blogging, or … or … or …

It really sucks when speed is against you. Same with me, it happens all the time. I can imagine the frustration!
