I’ve read that from several different sources, none of which gave one shred of evidence that the statement is even true. If anyone can back up this claim, I’d be interested in hearing from them.

    I’m pretty sure the television show MythBusters on Discovery Channel did an experiment on this, and they discovered that it wasn’t quite true.
