Please tell me it’s not really called that! Why can’t it just be called “a dot”? lol
You’ve heard the expression, “Every jot and tittle”? Well, The dot over an ‘i’ is a tittle and the cross on a ‘t’ is a jot, so the expression means, “every i dotted and every t crossed”.
I thought that was interesting…
