She said, “Bite me”, so here goes!

While blog-surfing this evening, I happened upon a blog called Electric Venom, maintained by one Venomous Kate. Not only does Kate have the phrase “Slither Hither” above her picture (which I think is TOO funny, for reasons the average reader wouldn’t get), she has this bi-weekly Bite Me game thing…

Twice a week, on Tuesday and Friday, Kate puts up a “Bite-Me” post. Everyone who writes a post that links to hers and then sends a “trackback” to that post will get not one, but TWO links from her blog.

Did I mention that you don’t actually have to write a new post for this, just add the link to an existing one? That means, as I understand it, that on Friday I could just change the link in this post and send a new trackback and I’m good to go!

Did I mention that if you’re using blog software that doesn’t do trackbacks (Thingamablog comes to mind) all you have to do is fill out this form to send her a manual trackback?

What am I forgetting? Hrm. I mentioned it was twice a week. I mentioned you would get two links from her. Oh yeah…

Did I mention that her blog’s front pge (where one of the links comes from) is a PR-5? I’m impressed. From what I’ve seen, most people with a page rank of five give links like they’re giving kidneys!

I’ve noticed that, too. Not sure why that is, but it’s annoying.

    Welcome to the “Bite Me!”

just a quick question, how can you get your blog’s alexa ranking so high?

Gary Carvolth is also an intersting blog…
