New form of irritating SPAM

If you're new here, you may want to subscribe to my RSS feed. Thanks for visiting!

Here’s a new SPAM email I’ve been getting. Without any exaggeration, I’m getting about 8-10 of these emails every day.
They all claim to be from different people - American Greetings, greetingcards.com, postcard.com, et cetera. The only difference between them, other than the “From:” address (which is a lie), is the first line. Some examples of what has been used there are:

Class mate has sent you a greeting card.

Class-mate has sent you a postcard.

Neighbor has sent you a greeting ecard.

School mate has sent you a greeting card.

and, my personal favorite,

Worshipper has sent you an ecard.

I especially like the “Terms Of Use” policy they’ve included which says, essentially, “when you download our virus, it isn’t our fault.”

Just how dumb do these people think I am? I’m supposed to go, “Oh, look. There’s an e-card from someone who didn’t give their name and to see it all I have to do is click this link that has an IP address instead of a domain name. Okay.”<Click>”Dang. How’d I get that virus?”

PUH LEEZE!

FYI, I’ve destroyed the URL in the email pasted below so nobody tries to go there. A # symbol is substituted for any number 0-9, and the letter L was substituted for any letter A-Z.
