I’m sure you have seen movies or television shows where some rich elderly person has got a huge house with three or four staircases and they have stairlifts installed on each one.
When I was a kid and saw those, I thought to myself, “Oh, please. How pretensious”. It is simply amazing how your attitudes can change over time. These days, because of the Rheumatoid Arthritis I’m dealing with, I find myself very thankful that I don’t live in a house with stairs and I realize that if I did, I would probably be one of the people doing my dead-level best to get my hands on one of those stairlifts.
If you find yourself in need of a stair lift and you live in the UK, then you should check out Value Stairlifts. They’ve been pleasing customers all over the UK since 2001 and they have six different models of stairlifts on their website.
Personally, I had no idea there was more than one type.
They have The Superglide Stairlift, the Standing Stairlift, the Perched Stairlift, the Curved Stairlift, the Outdoor Stairlift, and the Home stairlift.
I couldn’t find a price list on the website, but, since I don’t know the conversion from Brittish Pounds to U.S. Dollars, it probablt wouldn’t have done me any good anyway. For those who are more ambitious than I feel right now, there is a “Make An Enquirey” form where that type of question can be asked.
