With Summer quickly approaching, a lot of people will be biting the bullet on gas prices and heading out for vacations. If you’re one of these people, then you’ll probably be looking for a way to make up for the extra cash you’re going to be out in the cost of getting to your destination. Whether its in the form of gas prices or airline tickets, you’re going to pay more getting where you’re going this summer, so you owe it to yourself to check the Hotel Reservations at hotelreservations.com.
The website offers discounts on hotels, car rentals, vacation rentals, and vacation packages just for starters.
While looking around at their site, just for grins I picked out a vacation package leaving Little Rock, Arkansas and spending two weeks in Jamaca for less than $800/person. Not that I have even the slightest desire to spend even thirty seconds in Jamaca, mon 
, but I thought it’d be interesting to see what the came up with.
I put the exact same information into another site just now and the best they could do was about $400 higher.
I guess that’s why www.hotelreservations.com isn’t afraid to make that statement about “guaranteed lower rates”. You can bet that if I ever do get a wild hair (and a monetary windfall) and actually want to go to Jamaca, I’ll be looking at the vacation packages at hotelreservations.com.
Looking into their car rentals, I found I could rent a compact or economy car for less than $20/day. Again, putting the same information into the other website got me a deal that just wasn’t as good as the one offered by hotelreservations.com.
