As I said in an earlier post, I’ve finally upgraded to Windows XP - and now I have another problem - a severe lack of hard drive space.

Here’s my problem . . .

Current setup:

Primary partition

C: drive 141.7 Mbytes

Unallocated Space 4086.8 Mbytes

Extended Partition

D: drive 18959.5 Mbytes

E: drive 8260.0 Mbytes

F: Drive 5122.3 Mbytes

G: drive 12417.4 Mbytes

H: drive 25172.1 Mbytes

Total Space 78159.8 Mbytes

My problem is that Windows keeps crying about my C: drive having less than 200 Mbytes free. I’ve got 4 Gigs of hard drive space that has never been used since I installed this drive; it was set aside for a dual boot. Now, however, I’d like to enlarge drive C: to include that extra space, but the program I tried to use is telling me that, since drive C: is formatted FAT32 and not NTFS, resizing it will mean erasing all the data on it!

SUPER! That means I’ve got 4 gigs of space that I can’t use for windows unless I want to either lose my operating system or rearrange my drive letters (and screw up every program I’ve got installed) and still not have any more free space on drive C:

Any suggestions would be more than appreciated!
