Just say NO!
For those who might be wondering, the trip to return my daughter to school on Sunday night went off without a hitch . . . though I did find myself going, “What was THAT!” at every little noise - most of which turned out to be either the radio or a cell phone. :/
I heard on the radio that former Arkansas Governor Mike Huckabee has decided to run for President. I wouldn’t vote for him on a dare for two reasons:
1. Before leaving the Governor’s mansion for the last time, he ordered that all the hard drives from all computers in the state Capitol building be destroyed. What is he trying to hide? Those hard drives were paid for with taxpayer dollars and are, therefore, PUBLIC PROPERTY!
2. Arkansas is the same state that gave us Billery Clinton. You remember him, don’t you? He was the Arkansas governor who said, “If nominated I will not run and if elected I will not serve” right before leaving on his campaign trip. He’s the one who was not having sex while the young woman he was with did. He’s the one who told a grand jury, “That depends on what your definition of the word ‘is’ is” while denying certain charges and then, after leaving office, wrote a book in which he admitted that he had done these things, “because I could”. If that’s the quality of politition they grow in Arkansas, then let them all STAY in Arkansas!.
